Day: 9:30 - 3, Liz Granberg-Jerome will teach a workshop on Free Motion Quilting on a sewing machine. Cost is $35.00
SCARED STITCHLESS! Are you scared stitchless to quilt your own quilts?!? This beginning free motion quilting class will prepare you with information and tips on choosing needles and threads, marking your quilt with stencils or grid work, batting choices, pinning your quilt sandwich, and more. Then dive in and practice free-motion grids, quilting loops, curves and straight lines, and even writing your name while moving your quilt under the needle of your domestic sewing machine. Join Liz Granberg-Jerome of Gypsy Dreamer Quilts as she shares her experience quilting on domestic sewing machines and sit-down midarm quilters.

October 28th
Day: Karen Livingston’s workshop will be teaching a Christmas Table Runner. No charge.
Material list: Required materials for 2 table runners
2 1/2” strips cut WOF (also known as Jelly Roll Strips); 12 assorted light or medium strips and 4 assorted dark strips
1/2 yd outer border
1/2 yd binding
1 1/4 yds backing
Batting of fleece - 2 pieces measuring 17 x 45 “
Evening: Lynette Koelzer will present what quilt judges look for in “Quilt and Tips and Tricks”
November 18th
Day: 9:30-3:00 Sharron Bailey will teach us about Accuquilt. Cost is $5. Bring 2 1/2” strips, sewing machine and supplies. A block will be made for a nursing home and turned into a quilt. You can also make one for your yourself to take home.
Evening: The International Quilt Museum will present a history of their museum. This will be a week early so as to not conflict with Thanksgiving.
January 27th
Day: There will not be a workshop Evening program: Jackie and Sharon will present a trunk show
February 24th
Day: 9:00 -3:00 Carece Harstad will show us how to make a project bag. Supplies can be purchased from Chris at Acme Quilts. The following supplies are needed: Project bags 2.0, Bogo double sided stabilizer, quilt fabric from home, peacekeeper pattern is on our website. If the project is not completed, it can be on the following Monday.
